Sharing the location access of your Tack devices with friends, family, or other users is easy using the OurSphere app. Follow the steps below:
Steps to Share Location Access
Open the OurSphere App:
Ensure you have the latest version of the OurSphere app installed. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store if you haven’t already.
Navigate to the Devices Tab:
Tap on the Devices tab within the app.
Select the Relevant Tack Device:
Under the My Devices list, tap on the Tack device you want to share.
Tap on the Share Icon:
Look for the share icon (3 dots with 2 connecting lines) and tap on it.
Choose a Sharing Option:
Generate a Temporary Access Link:
Select this option to share your device’s latest location for 1, 3, or 7 days.
Share the link with the recipient via email, text, or your preferred messaging platform.
Grant Perpetual Access with a Guest Access Code:
Ensure that the recipient has logged into their account in OurSphere.
Under the Devices tab, the recipient will need to tap Add Tack → Add Guest Tack and enter the Guest Access Code to view your device’s location.
Important Notes
Only the owner of a Tack device can share the Guest Access Code with others.
Temporary access links expire automatically after the selected duration.
Perpetual access can be revoked by the owner at any time via the OurSphere app under Settings > Guest List.

Q1: Can I share access with multiple people at the same time?
Yes, you can share temporary links with multiple people or grant perpetual access to multiple OurSphere users using Guest Access Codes.
Q2: How can I revoke shared access?
Go to the device Settings > Guest List in the OurSphere app and remove the recipient from the shared list.
Q3: Can I share access without the recipient having an OurSphere account?
Yes, by generating a temporary access link, the recipient does not need an account. However, for perpetual access, the recipient must have an OurSphere account.
Q4: What happens if I deactivate my Tack device?
Shared access will automatically be revoked when the device is deactivated.
